Critical Inquiry Project 1

This session presents two critical inquiry (CI) projects by teachers from the ICT CI Networked Learning Community. The projects focus on harnessing technology and online resources to develop greater aural awareness and deeper musical understandings, involving harmony, music writing and arranging, to enrich the learning for secondary music students.

How can blended learning be best facilitated with students to develop their theoretical understandings of music?

Ronald Lim shares his critical inquiry study of four lower secondary students’ learning, through curated online platforms and plenary sessions conducted over three months. The outcomes of various facilitation strategies, as well as the insights gained from the students’ experiences and perceptions, will be shared to foster discourse on teacher facilitated e-learning.
